Case study · Websites
Chubbs.
The website for Chubbs, the franchise brand built from The Original Chubby’s, a Colorado Mexican restaurant run by the same family since 1967. One site serves hungry customers today and future franchise owners tomorrow.

The brief
A family recipe from 1967, ready to franchise.
Chubbs is how a three-generation Colorado restaurant takes its green chili beyond its original locations. The website has to carry nearly sixty years of family history, make the food look as good as it tastes, and work for two very different visitors.
One is deciding what to order or whether to cater a party. The other is deciding whether to open a location of their own. Both should find what they need in a couple of taps, on a phone.
What we built
A brand site, a hiring tool and an opening campaign.
- A homepage built around the family story, including a video of the third-generation owner telling it
- The full menu with a photo category strip and navigation that stays in reach while you scroll
- A catering page with seven packages, from office lunches to family reunions
- A careers page recruiting the opening crew for the new Arvada location, with an online application
- An opening “notify me” list: one click tags interested customers in the CRM and lands them on a confirmation page, so a single email goes out when the opening date is real
- Allergen information and legal pages
- Grand-opening print flyers and a product logo for Chubby’s Burger Sauce
